Establishes New Scholarship Opportunity For Students Pursuing An Aviation Career
Worldwide aircraft charter provider Paramount Business Jets (PBJ) recently marked 10 years of operation by establishing a new scholarship opportunity for college students considering careers in aviation and aerospace.
Paramount Business Jets Founder and CEO Richard Zaher (pictured) is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) and the 2012 recipient of the university's Alumni Eagle of Excellence Award. Zaher worked with representatives at his alma mater to establish the Paramount Business Jets Scholarship, dedicated to helping the next generation of aviation professionals with shouldering the burden of college tuition.
"PBJ has reached a milestone and we are excited about the future, but more importantly, we have based our company culture on honesty and integrity," Zaher said. "We are committed individually and as an organization to always treat everyone fairly, to set an example, to promote a positive aviation environment, maintain a strong focus on safety, and to growing the greater aviation community."
"Richard's dedication in creating the Paramount Business Jets Scholarship for students of the university he graduated from displays his true understanding of strategic and meaningful philanthropy," said Lyndse Costabile, ERAU's director of corporate relations & development. "Embry-Riddle is grateful to Richard and the entire PBJ family for not just standing on the tarmac and watching our students take flight, yet grab hold of the yoke and help Eagles Soar!"
The PBJ Team consists of a group of aviation professionals, pilots and engineers. In addition to developing a proprietary quoting system, airport proximity tool, and Time and Distance calculator in-house, PBJ has built and developed the most sophisticated central Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that connects team members locally and worldwide with every charter they organize, allowing them to manage every detail of every trip efficiently and seamlessly on a global scale.
