StandardAero was recently awarded an exclusive, three-year agreement to provide Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) PW127M engine maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) services for Vietnam Airlines’ fully owned subsidiary, Vietnam Air Service Company (VASCO).

Under the contract, StandardAero will provide engine MRO services in support of VASCO’s fleet of ATR 72-500 aircraft from its P&WC PW100 Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) in Gonesse, France.

Vietnam Airlines is the National Flag Carrier of Vietnam and is headquartered in Long Bien District, Hanoi, with hubs at Noi Bai International Airport and Tan Son Nhat International Airport.  The airline flies to 52 destinations in 17 countries, excluding codeshare services.

“This agreement signifies the confidence and trust that a prestigious and selective customer now places in StandardAero and our team of experienced service technicians,” said Peter Turner, President of StandardAero Airlines & Fleets.  “We look forward to delivering on customized MRO solutions to meet all requirements for Vietnam Airlines through our global footprint of MRO service centers and qualified technicians.”
