Aircraft Components Inks Big Deal With Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America

Will Become Exclusive Overhaul Agency

Aircraft Components Company, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Aircraft Product Support Division, of Addison, Texas, have struck a deal whereby ACC will provide component overhaul services on certain Japanese manufactured aircraft products. The agreement follows the recent merger of ACC and Turbine Aircraft Components.

ACC has contracted with MHIA to be the exclusive overhaul agency for many Japanese-manufactured components for the MU-2 aircraft. Under the agreement, ACC will have license to utilize the latest technical data for component repairs and overhaul of struts, actuators, motors, and other similar components. "The agreement will ensure that the parts supplied by Aircraft Components Company conform to the original manufacturer’s specifications as well as the most stringent FAA standards. We expect to be known as a high value supplier," said Tom Berscheidt, co-owner of ACC.

"Our current company has made a large commitment to parts support of the MU-2 product line. MHIA has shown that they are committed to support of the MU-2 fleet worldwide," said Berscheidt's fellow co-owner, Mary Pat Barnes. She went on to say that ACC will be expanding its inventory and overhaul service to other aircraft and products in 2005.

Aircraft Components Company is a FAA Approved Repair Station No. C43R376N specializing in the repair and overhaul of aircraft components. In addition, ACC supplies and maintains an extensive inventory of new and used parts for a variety of general aviation aircraft.
