Micron Technology CEO in Plane Crash

The CEO of Micron Technology Inc., a computer technology firm, and one of his employees were involved in a crash south of Boise (ID) on Thursday evening. Steve Appleton and Micron employee Michael Duffy are in stable condition after Appleton's Extra 300 (described by the mainstream media as an "aerobatic biplane, of all things...) went down in a field.

Russian TU-22 Crashes, Four Dead

A Russian TU-22 long range bomber with no military payload crashed near Saltsy airfield in the Novgorod region, south of St. Petersburg, late thursday night, after controllers lost contact with it, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
