Kittyhawk.io Offers Solutions For Keeping Track Of Everything Going On With Your Drone…
As with anything involving the FAA, the paperwork is important. A new company … Kittyhawk.io … is offering a variety of solutions to help drone operators keep track of everything going on with their aircraft.
Josh Ziering, co-founder of Kittyhawk.io. told ANN CEO and Editor in Chief Jim Campbell at the AMA Expo in January that the apps developed by the company can give pilots information about the weather, as well as pre-flight, in-flight and post-flight checklists and maintenance logs through their iOS, Android and web apps.
The app is free for hobbyists, and Ziering says there are several packages available for commercial operators.
Ziering said that the company has found that many commercial operators are already keeping records that are more that is are required by the FAA. He said that by offering online solutions, the company is meeting the needs of industry leaders, and that will trickle down to everybody else in the industry as well.
