Diehl Aviation, ASE Picked for Eve Interior Design and Power Systems

Companies Join the Fold in Quest to Create Eve eVTOL

Eve Air Mobility has announced more suppliers to help bring its eVTOL aircraft to fruition, naming Diehl Aviation and ASE as fellow developers in the program.

Diehl Aviation is no stranger to the design, development and production of integrated solutions for aircraft cabins, making them a natural selection to design and produce the eVTOL's interior. Diehl will work with Eve's in-house personnel to make the best, most functional, and most stylish flight experience they can.

The second firm named is ASE, a "world-class supplier of electrical power systems for aerospace and defence industry", will develop and produce a trio of vital power architecture for the Eve eVTOL: The Primary High Voltage Power Distribution System, the Primary Low Voltage Power Distribution System and the High Voltage DC-DC converter that will interconnect them. The Eve aircraft relies entirely upon that electric architecture to remain aloft, making ASE's contribution a vital, essential backbone for the aircraft to come. They seem to be up to the job, however, bringing plenty of prior experience in design, development, integration, production and support of electrical power systems for multiple types of aircraft.

“Our global team of engineers have shown exceptional dedication and expertise to successfully assemble our first full-scale eVTOL prototype,” said Johann Bordais, CEO of Eve Air Mobility. “This is a significant milestone that underscores our commitment to safety, accessibility and innovation. As we now turn our attention toward the preparation of a rigorous testing campaign, we are not just creating an aircraft, we’re building a comprehensive ecosystem of solutions that will shape the future of the Advanced Air Mobility industry.”
