Five Companies Display Airplanes At Four Airports
Five LSA manufacturers are planning bring their aircraft to four
cities in the Southeast this week, with stops in Savannah,
Williamston, and Atlanta GA, as well as Greenville, SC.

The LSA Tour will land in Greenville on Thursday, April 7th, and
aircraft will be on display with demonstration rides available from
11:00 am until Sunset behind the Runway Cafe on the South Ramp of
the Greenville Downtown Airport. stated .
Alex Park, General Manager of Mint Air, an LSA flight school
located at the Greenville Downtown Airport, said a free educational
presentation will be given at 1830. "It will explain what is Light
Sport Aviation (LSA), who qualifies to become a Sport Pilot and
will provide specific information about the LSA's on Tour," Park
said.
"Everything a sport pilot student learns, along with their
recreational flying time, can be counted towards getting a private
pilot license," according to Park. "Sport pilot is the new
and exciting way to get involved in flying with less time and
expense. The LSA tour is designed to help introduce people to the
sport pilot revolution," Park said. "It's easy, affordable,
safe and fun; and obtaining a sport pilot license can cut the cost
and training in half for basic recreational flying," Park
added.

"Now many people who have dreamed of
learning to fly, or have wanted to get back into aviation at an
affordable level, can," according to Park. "Flight
instructors will be available to answer questions," Park
said.
Flight Design, CubCrafters, SportAir USA, Legend Cub, Remos, Jabiru
and Rans Aircraft will be displayed.
