Columbia Aircraft Sales, Inc. Names New Sales Executive

Frank Bellocchio To Lead White Plains, NY Sales Location

Columbia Aircraft Sales, Inc. -- a member of the Columbia group of aviation companies that specializes in sales of the EADS Socata TBM 700, as well as the entire New Piper line and Adam Aircraft's A500 and A700 -- announced Tuesday the appointment of experienced sales executive and pilot Frank Bellocchio to Columbia Aircraft Sales' White Plains (HPN) location.

"The New York metropolitan area is a key market for general aviation sales," said Columbia Aircraft Sales President Art Maurice. "Frank’s combination of aviation experience and business credentials in high-value sales are excellent qualifications for the position."

A 1,400-hour instrument-rated pilot, Bellocchio (right) joins Columbia with nearly 30 years of professional sales experience in roles of increasing responsibility in both in established and entrepreneurial companies.

"Columbia Aircraft Sales is a well-established and respected name in general aviation," said Bellocchio. "From single-engine piston trainers to turbine-powered aircraft, Columbia represents some of the most exciting and best-selling aircraft in the industry. I am looking forward to fulfilling our customers’ aircraft needs."

Before joining Columbia Aircraft, Bellocchio was vice president of sales for Black Dragon Software -- a start-up company specializing in computer network security. He previously was a network security consultant to Wall Street Mortgage Bankers New York.

Bellocchio also was senior director of sales at Fortinet Inc., and at SonicWall Inc. -- where he grew sales from zero to $38 million in 30 months. Bellocchio was founder and CEO of Telecomm Systems Associates Inc., which he sold in 1994.

A Greenwich, Conn. resident, Bellocchio holds an associate degree in electrical engineering from Norwalk State Technical College.

Columbia Aircraft Sales, Inc., has sales locations throughout the northeast in Groton, CN; Rutland, VT; Bar Harbor, MN; Allaire, NJ; and White Plains, NY.
