Expansion In The Works For J.A. Air Center

Chicago Aurora Airport FBO To Open 2008

J.A. Air Center announced a major expansion of the longtime West Chicago (KDPA) -based service company at Aurora Municipal Airport (KARR).

Slated to open in late 2008, the new 108,000-square foot FBO facility will include more than 60,000 square feet of clear-span hangar space large enough to fit Global Express and Gulfstream 550-sized aircraft.

The nearly 50,000 square feet of office space will house a large FBO terminal and office space for aviation-related tenants.

In addition to FBO services, aircraft sales and acquisitions, charter, flight instruction and mail order avionics and consumer electronics sales, J.A. Air Center is an FAA Part 145 repair station offering aircraft maintenance and parts, instrument sales and service, and award-winning avionics installation and service.

J.A. Air Center also operates the FBO at nearby DeKalb Taylor Municipal Airport (KDKB).
