Aero-News Quote of the Day

"We've had record load factors for the past three years. That means our planes have been fuller than they've ever been. And this fact, combined with the new security requirements that limit gels and liquids people can take on a plane have meant we're carrying much more luggage than we have in the past."

Source: Air Canada spokesman Peter Fitzpatrick. Effective July 15, passengers hoping to bring their pets with them on domestic Air Canada flights will have to send the animals on the carrier's AC Live Product cargo service instead, to make room for luggage on passenger-carrying flights. Pending approval from the Canadian Transportation Agency, pets won't be allowed on flights to the US or other international destinations, either.
