CAE Celebrates New Location in Las Vegas

Business Aviation Training Center to Cover West Coast Bizjet Demand

CAE executives were on hand on April 4th to celebrate the grand opening of the company's brand new Las Vegas, Nevada business aviation training facility.

The location will go to sate some of the increasing demand for bizjet training seen on the West Coast, the first CAE location to be built in the region. The location will, in traditional Vegas tradition, be quite luxe, with 50,000 square feet of space, 8 full-flight simulators, and the capacity to train more than 2,500 pilots every year. Right now, 7 are already operational, and will be ready to show off their capabilities once the first bunch of tourists make their way to the inaguration.

CAE will hit the ground running, already booking their initial batches of trainees for future training. The Las Vegas location sports a solid lineup of Gulfstream and Embraer training aids, with full-motion Level D simulators for the G450, the G550, and the G650. Embraer's Legacy 600, Legacy 650, Phenom 300, and ERJ145 are all represented as well. Finally, a Bombardier Global 7500 rounds out the current Vegas collection for CAE.
