IBAC Recognizes Fountain And Associates As IS-BAO Affiliate

Developer Of Cloud-Based Audit Software Applicable To Business Aviation

Fountain and Associates, the developer of cloud-based iIS-BAO Audit Protocol software, was recently recognized by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) as an International Standard for Business Aircraft Operators (IS-BAO) International Standards Support Services Affiliate (I3SA).

I3SA Program candidates must satisfy requirements stipulated in IBAC Policy letter 2015-1A and attend a training program before receiving the recognition, which allows affiliates to display the IS-BAO I3SA logo on their company materials. Fountain and Associates will be adding the logo to its iIS-BAO Audit Protocol software, which was initially released in April 2015 and combines current 2015 IS-BAO with audit requirements, related regulations and advisory circulars, operator-supplied cross-references, and findings to provide a comprehensive SMS documentation, audit and training tool.

“Receiving the I3SA recognition from IBAC helps to assure our customers that our iIS-BAO software satisfies specified IS-BAO requirements and follows recommended practices and audit procedures,” said Fountain and Associates owner Phillip J. Fountain. “Having a Stage 3 IS-BAO rating will also assist operators using our iIS-BAO software in obtaining safety ratings from audit companies as ARGUS and Wyvern.”

iIS-BAO Audit Protocol software provides modularized access to the current IS-BAO requirements plus related reference and guidance documents for use during internal or external IS-BAO safety audits. Historic data from the previous audit cycle is migrated into the next protocol cycle. With one click, iIS-BAO users can also find any new or changed IS-BAO requirements since the last protocol cycle, which can be helpful for updating company manuals, policies and procedures. The iIS-BAO Audit Protocol software also allows maintenance of operator-specific cross references and audit base information, and has the ability to export these cross-references for third party use. The software provides areas for auditors to enter comments on findings for each requirement. When the audit is complete, the iIS-BAO Audit Protocol software aggregates the findings into a single PDF file.

Available for Windows 7 and above, Mac OS X, and iOS (iPad) platforms, the iIS-BAO software saves each customer’s data on a secure cloud-based server, allowing access to the data from laptops, iPads and desktop computers.
