Mooney International, Partners In Aviation Join Forces To Create MooneyShares

New Relationship To Provide Lower-Cost Entry To High Performance And Versatility

Aircraft manufacturer Mooney International and Partners in Aviation (PIA) have announced they have formed a partnership enabling buyers of high-performance, single-engine aircraft to realize never-before-seen price and cost-of-ownership advantages. MooneyShares makes available the incredible new Mooney Ultra aircraft to customers who previously would not have considered an upgrade in performance and capabilities.

"The Mooney Ovation and Acclaim Ultras are the perfect aircraft to offer to this new and exciting buying segment," said Mooney’s sales and marketing director, Lance Phillips. Speed and versatility make any business or entrepreneur much more competitive, and these aircraft have been designed to provide those advantages. MooneyShares brings it all together”

PIA founders Mark Molloy and Tom Bertels, bring a unique complement of industry experience and success to the equation. Both are accomplished pilots and have an undeniably high level of understanding of customer and market needs.  "These are the perfect partners, at the right time, with the right service," Phillips said. "Customers with varying needs and requirements can now come together, through PIA, and realize acquisition costs as low as 50 cents on the dollar, while having the ability to share maintenance, service and handling. Whether operating a flight department or flying for business and leisure, owners can now experience a brand new Mooney, a situation previously only dreamed of for many.”

"We are very excited to offer the incredible capabilities of the Mooney Ultras to buyers who in the past may not have even considered purchasing new," said PIA president and co-founder, Mark Molloy. "The blazing speed, creature comforts and technology inside the Mooney are unique and make these aircraft even more appealing to business and personal travelers alike. Mooney added a pilot’s-side door to the legendary M20 design, they incorporated the very latest in avionics technology and created an interior that even Porsche or Ferrari owners will appreciate. MooneyShares through PIA brings customers and Mooney aircraft together like never before."
