Mattituck's New 360 for Experimentals

Introducing the TMX-360

We'll have more information for you tomorrow, and even a photo; but we didn't want to keep it a secret: Mattituck has just unveiled a warranted TMX-360 engine, especially for builders of experimental aircraft. In fact, they're not talking about it, but there's a 320-based version, too, that has all the same features. Here's what they've told us:

Mattituck has built and warranted the TMX-360 Experimental 180HP O-360 engine, configured with all new parts and new accessories, set up for a fixed pitch application, for $17,350.00. (Configured for a constant speed application, the engine price is $17,800.00.)

The TMX-360 engine can be adapted to any configuration you may require, including dynafocal 1 or conical engine mounts, electronic ignition, the 'Red Gold' performance enhancement, either with or without any -- or all -- of the accessories normally provided on the engine. (Pricing and information for those specific configurations is available.)

...or an IO-360

The TMX-360 Experimental 180HP IO-360 engine, configured as above, for a fixed pitch application lists at $20,900.00. (Constant speed application mods bring that to $21,500.00.) Like the TMX Experimental O-360 above, the TMX Experimental IO-360 engine can be adapted to any configuration you may require.

Even FADEC:

The Mattituck TMX-360 Experimental 180HP IOF-360 engine, including a FADEC system by TCM Aerosance, for a fixed pitch application for $23,900.00. (Configured for a constant speed, that's $24,500.00.)

The TMX-360 Series Experimental engine warranty is administered by Teledyne Mattituck Services for one year, parts and labor, with an additional year, parts and labor, on the cylinder assemblies.

If you'd like a 320,

O-320 and IO-320 versions of the above TMX Experimental engine's are available upon special request.

All accessories provided with standard TMX Experimental engines are FAA-approved components manufactured by current original equipment manufactures. (Oh -- and all those prices are FOB Mattituck, NY.)
