GoFundMe Account Established For Family Of Sean Archuleta

Mesa Airlines Pilot Was Aboard The Atlas Air 767 Which Went Down Saturday

A GoFundMe page has been established for the family of Sean Archuleta in the aftermath of the accident Saturday involving an Atlas Air Boeing 767 which went down in Texas. Sean was one of three people fatally injured in the accident.

The presence was established by one of Archuleta's fellow pilots at Mesa Airlines. Archuleta was an E-175 Mesa Airlines Captain. He is survived by a wife, stepdaughter and a son who has not yet had his first birthday.

The person who established the page is identified only as YCastellanos XV. (www.gofundme.com/profile/ycastellanos-xv-7gavy) "We both work for the same company and flew together as pilots. Sharing many things in common such as our passion and integrity for  flying and family. He was a great family man, always putting family over everything else.  Everything I’m doing is strictly to help his wife and kids. Just another friend mourning for someone who won our respect with professionalism and endless gratitude," he wrote.

"If you could support my GoFundMe by making a donation and then sharing it with your network, I would greatly appreciate it. I know that money can be tight, so please know that even $5 helps me get closer to the goal. Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll be happy to answer them."

The campaign has a goal of $200,000. In the first day, a total of $142,147 was pledged.
