World's Newest Light Jet: Hawker 400XP

Raytheon's solid and growing Hawker product line of business jets now includes a light jet for corporate customers. The Hawker 400XP was just introduced at the 2003 European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (EBACE) in Switzerland. In keeping with the Hawker tradition, this new Hawker will provide customers a five-year tip-to-tail warranty, an upgraded array of standard features, and world-class customer service expected of the Hawker brand.

"This new Hawker is a critical step in our overall strategy to create distinct branding references for our customers," said Brad Hatt, President - Hawker Division. "Hawker aircraft are known among corporate and fractional customers for their elegance, large cabins and dispatch reliability. That's a perfect description of the Hawker 400XP."

A commemorative-painted Hawker 400XP appeared on static display at Geneva International Airport. A large Hawk Head logo graces the vertical stabilizer, and Hawker 400XP is scripted on the fuselage. Inside, Hawker logos are emblazoned into the carpet and headrests.

More load, more capability.

The Hawker 400XP (eXtra Payload) also features a 200-lb. gross weight increase that was recently introduced to the production line on its predecessor, the Beechjet 400A.

"The most significant overall benefit to customers is increased flexibility," said Hatt. "Customers have the additional operational capability to add another passenger, or operate with the same number of passengers and increase the fuel onboard by 200 pounds for increased range."

In Europe, customers can look to Chester, U.K., for service. The Raytheon Aircraft Services facility was recently renamed Hawker Aircraft Services to emphasize its commitment to servicing Hawker aircraft. Chester joins Hawker Aircraft Services in Little Rock (AR) as the main service destinations for Hawker owners.

"The recognition of Chester as a factory-owned Hawker Aircraft Services reflects the outstanding work our technicians perform there," said Hatt. "Between Little Rock and Chester, we have the most experienced, knowledgeable Hawker people in the world. Customers will know they're getting the best service in the world at either of these two Hawker Aircraft Services facilities."

Fractional Experience Boosts Corporate Service

Hawker 400XP owners will experience traditional Hawker service -- good news for operators. "Fractional service has raised the bar for everyone," Hatt said. "We have taken that same level of service and experience, and have applied it to our individual corporate operators. This is the type of service Hawker 400XP owners can expect."
