PAMA Selects Potomac Management Resources As Management Partner

Company Chosen To Provide Member Services And Improve Government Relations

The Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA), has hired Potomac Management Resources (PMR) to provide day-to-day administrative and management assistance with member services, growth, financial development, communications and industry relations. PAMA recently ended its affiliation with the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) to focus exclusively on programs and support for aviation maintenance managers, aviation mechanics and the aviation maintenance industry.

"We're very pleased to find an organization of the caliber of Potomac Management Resources," said Clark Gordon, chairman of PAMA's board of directors. "Under the agreement we've just signed, PAMA will retain its independence and 501(c)3 status, allowing it to advocate on behalf of the maintenance industry. Our new Washington, DC-area headquarters will give us greater access to government regulatory and legislative activities," he added.

"An experienced association management firm, Potomac Management Resources recognizes the importance that PAMA places on meeting the day-to-day needs of the aviation companies and their technical and managerial employees that are the heart of our membership base," noted John Casker, PAMA's president. "We also believe PMR will help us be even more effective in developing new activities for corporate and individual members, from trade shows and events to job placement services, top-tier summits and professional development programs," he concluded.

PAMA, encourages a high degree of professionalism among aviation maintenance personnel, while seeking to improving methods, skills, learning, and achievement in the field of aviation maintenance.
