Also: Drone Test Administrators, Elite Balloon Instructor, CFI Completion Program, T-7A Advanced Trainer

Ever wondered what it's like to fly a loop or a roll? Maybe you've considered taking an upset recovery course to improve your stick and rudder skills?

If so, Sportys thinks this is THE course for you. Basic Aerobatics with Patty Wagstaff puts you in the cockpit with an airshow legend to experience flight beyond straight and level. More than just a list of maneuvers, this course explores the art and sport of high performance flying-it's the perfect complement to in-airplane training. You'll learn about the history of aerobatics, what the industry looks like today, and how to get started. Women in Aviation International will be offering 47 new scholarships in a variety of aviation career pursuits thanks to a generous $250,000 grant from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. Details of the scholarships will be posted on March 1, 2021. Scholarships include funding to further members' interests in air traffic control, aviation maintenance, flight training, helicopter ratings, and space. American Legend Aircraft is participating with McKinney High School students and local STEM project organizers to build a Legend Cub two-place airplane. Organizers state that the project represents the team's first time building a Legend Cub. The project is currently underway at McKinney National Airport (KTKI), a short distance from the Dallas-area school. The Legend Cub’s The design takes its cues from one of the world's most recognized small airplanes, the Piper Cub. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
