Daher Celebrates 30 Years' Participation in Aero Friedrichshafen

Daher Achieves Milestone of 30 Years at AERO Friedrichschafen

This week at AERO Friedrichshafen, Daher celebrated a significant milestone--30 years of continuous participation at Europe's premier general aviation trade show. The 2024 event sees Daher showcasing its advanced aircraft models, the TBM 960 and the Kodiak 100, symbolizing three decades of evolution and contribution to general aviation.

Daher's aircraft display includes the TBM 960, renowned for its speed and efficiency, and the Kodiak 100, known for its utility and short takeoff and landing capabilities. These aircraft represent the latest in a proud lineage that began with the piston-engine Rallye and TB training/touring airplanes, first introduced at the show's inception in 1994.

Nicolas Chabbert, CEO of Daher's Aircraft Division, highlighted the company's commitment to sustainability in aviation during his opening speech at the show. He detailed Daher's involvement in the EcoPulse hybrid aircraft project, a collaborative effort with industry giants Airbus and Safran, aiming to push the boundaries of eco-friendly flight technologies. Furthermore, Chabbert underscored the growing demand for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), which promises to reduce the carbon footprint of aviation further.

Significant announcements included the upcoming delivery of the first Kodiak 100 Series III aircraft in the 2024 Model Year configuration by Rheinland Air Service GmbH, Daher's authorized distributor in Austria and Germany. The new Kodiak 100 Series III features a higher landing weight and increased zero-fuel weight, enhancing its payload capacity. The aircraft now also offers plug-and-play options for Aerocet amphibious floats and comes standard with a five-blade Hartzell composite propeller, enhancing its versatility and performance.

Daher remains dedicated to supporting its TBM and Kodiak customers through an extensive service network and a comprehensive four-year Kodiak Care maintenance program, ensuring continued excellence in operational support and technical expertise for both its current and legacy aircraft models.
