Claimed He Was A "Federal Agent"
Just the other day, the ANN staff
noted with our eyebrows raised we hadn't seen a single "stupid TSA"
story for the past couple weeks or so. We even questioned whether
that could be a sign the embattled agency was (finally) getting its
act together, after years and years (and years) of harassment,
bungled customer service, and even recklessly damaging
aircraft.
Yeah, we knew that trend couldn't last, too.
WCPO-9 in Cincinnati, OH reports one of the Transportation
Safety Administration's best and brightest was arrested Saturday
during the baseball game between the Chicago Cubs and
Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park, after concessionaires
refused to serve him alcohol on the grounds he appeared visibly
intoxicated.
That denial aggravated Rafael Rosario, 26... and soon,
Cincinnati police were called. When officers -- real officers,
not hired hands with fancy new uniforms --
asked to see the TSA employee's identification, Rosario claimed he
was a 'federal agent' and that mere local police had no right to
see his I.D.
Eventually, Rosario deigned to give officers his Illinois
drivers license... but it was too late. He was arrested for
refusing to cooperate with officers -- again, real
officers -- and charged with disorderly conduct while
intoxicated.
Rosario is employed with TSA at O'Hare International Airport in
Chicago. His position there wasn't given... so we have no way of
knowing if Rosario is
this clown, though we wouldn't be surprised a
bit.
