EAA’s 2024 Sport Aviation Halls Of Fame

New Inductees Represent Individual Segments Of Aviation

The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA)’s Sport Aviation Halls of Fame announced the addition of six new inductees who will be recognized as part of the 2024 class.

The six new inductees come from different areas of aviation – ultralights, homebuilders, the International Aerobatic Club, the Vintage Aircraft Association, and EAA Warbirds of America.

The EAA Sport Aviation Halls of Fame were established to honor men and women who share the spirit of EAA and its community through their outstanding achievements in aviation. The inductees are selected by their colleagues for their many contributions to their individual areas of aviation.

The 2024 inductees are:

  • EAA Homebuilders Hall of Fame:  Sebastien Heintz – Owner & President of Zenith Aircraft Company, aircraft kit maker
  • EAA Ultralights Hall of Fame:  Dave Goulet (posthumous) – Co-founder of Quad City Ultralight Corporation, maker of the Quad City Challenger
  • International Aerobatic Club Hall of Fame:  Linda Meyers Morrissey – Multi-time medalist at the World Aerobatic Championship
  • Vintage Aircraft Association Hall of Fame:  Dave and Jeanne Allen (posthumous) – Husband-wife restoration team known for several outstanding projects
  • Warbirds of America Hall of Fame:  Frank Strickler – Former Air Force and American Airlines pilot who founded Fox 51, focused on antique and warbird airplanes

The EAA will host a dinner celebration to honor the inductees on October 16, 2024, in the Eagle Hangar of the EAA Aviation Museum.
