EAA AeroEducate to Expand Reach With NEXTGEN

EAA, Dynamic Aviation Join Hands To Promote Youth Programs

AeroEducate, unveiled at AirVenture 2021, has found its footing after nearly a year in action, bringing the aerospace industry into the classroom to secure the next generation of aviators.

Released and curated by the EAA, AeroEducate is designed to provide educators of children and teens, students 5 to 18 with the tools necessary to foment an interest in aviation. The program uses interactive, educational, and age-appropriate pathways into aerospace, available free and clear for use by teachers everywhere. Dynamic aviation's Nextgen Aviators program is a perfect foil to the program, allowing students to enroll in AeroEducate and receive badging credit for participation. The partnership also allows local EAA chapters to participate in local Nextgen events in their areas, too. Once signed up throught the website, Teachers can find a series of STEM activities suited for each grade level, as well as classroom activities, career pathway exploration, industry support, and scholarship opportunities all in one easily referenced spot.

“We have seen the enthusiasm of young people in Virginia when they are at our Nextgen activities and they leave wanting to know more and engage more fully in aviation,” said Shane Combs, director of partner relations and marketing for Dynamic Aviation. “EAA’s AeroEducate program provides that next step in a way that young people can engage on a timeline that works best for them, and even welcomes their parents and teachers to discover more as well.”
