Aura Aero Embarks on Financing Partnership

Aura Aero to Offer Financing for Integral 2-Seaters

Collection of Sport Planes Can Be Had with Loan Terms Beyond 7 Years, "Attractive Interest Rates"

Aura Aero has joined hands with the Societe Generale Equipment Finance (SGEF) in order to assist buyers with financing their own private aircraft.

Under the terms, Aura Aero's portfolio of 2-seater Integral R, E, and S models will be brought within reach of the common man. The Société Générale group will help move some aircraft with financing at "attractive interest rates", though the deal only applies to the Integral family of training, aerobatic and leisure aircraft - those excited to finance their own 19-seat Electric Regional Aircraft are sadly not covered under the deal. Financing can extend beyond the usual 7-year term period, too, an understandable shift given the current economic climate.

Aura Aero says that the move just won't benefit pilots, but flight schools and clubs, too. Across the world, aviators are entering the industry only to see aged, haggard old aircraft equipped the same way they rolled off the production line a half-century before. While the classics are nice in their own way, it's easier to fill student slots when the aircraft are shiny, new, and well-equipped. Add in the extra safety margins of improved situational awareness and traffic warning systems, and it's apparent why Aura Aero feels that even offering a new financing program is almost a public service.

"SGEF is a partner with exceptional experience in general aviation projects. With this collaboration, we are making it easier for pilot schools and aviation clubs to decide in favor of INTEGRAL, our new generation two-seater aircraft," said Drew McEwen, Chief Commercial Officer of AURA AERO.

"The decarbonization of aviation is a challenge that all stakeholders must face. As a member of the Societé Générale Group, we take this task very seriously and recognize how important it is for our customers. We are therefore delighted to be able to make our contribution through this collaboration, in particular by financing INTEGRAL E," said Werner Slavik, Head of Aviation, SGEF.
