2011 Bahamas & Caribbean Pilot's Guide Now On The iPad

Publisher Says It's The Perfect Co-Pilot For Any Island Flight

The 2011 Bahamas & Caribbean Pilot’s Guide is now available as an app for the iPad. The publisher says the search feature lets users easily find what they're looking for, with a searchable index which lets you run down through the island chains to find the island or airport you want. There is also a bookmark feature lets users keep track of their favorites. The Bahamas & Caribbean Pilot’s Guide app is a new, digital presentation of this well-known and widely used publication.

The Bahamas & Caribbean Pilot’s Guide has been updated and published every year since 1979. After 33 years in print, the Bahamas & Caribbean Pilot’s Guide remains the only single-source reference for island travel. The Guide has complete airport information for the entire Bahamas & Caribbean region, as well as island and travel information. Sections include General Information and procedures, Islands of the Bahamas, Turks & Caicos, Hispaniola/Cuba, Western Caribbean (Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Yucatan, Belize and Roatan), Puerto Rico & U.S. and British Virgin Islands, Eastern Caribbean (Anguilla south to Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao), United States (Florida Airports of Entry) and Survival.

The publisher says the Pilot’s Guide is packed full of color photos, including an aerial photo of every airport in the Bahamas & Caribbean. There are phone numbers for airport managers, Customs & Immigration, resorts and services. Included are frequencies, fuel availability, procedures, and so much more to help plan, prepare for, and enjoy  a trip down island. The Bahamas & Caribbean Pilot’s Guide is the one resource that pilots have been relying on for over 30 years for aviation travel in the islands.

The iPad app is available from the app store for $49.95.
