Trixy Aviation Introduces TrixFormer Concept

Two-Person Cycle Can Become An Airplane, Helicopter Or Gyroplane

Another company has introduced a concept vehicle that it is calling "the future of personal transportation." The vehicle is the TrixFormer, which the company calls an environmental friendly, electric driven 2-seater Motorcycle for urban traffic named TrixCycle, which forms the center piece and the heart of the modular concept. This motorcycle is planned to be produced in 2 main designs and many different styles to suit the tastes and the needs of almost any person.

One main design line is a motorcycle with an open cabin formed by a stainless steel cage. From there, the TrixCycle is equipped with a unique, patented docking system, which allows coupling the compact motorcycle with several devices. The docking system is designed to transform the simple motorcycle to an airplane (TrixPlane), a gyroplane (TrixGyro), a helicopter (TrixHeli) and even to a boat (TrixBoat).

The aircraft components are designed to wait in the hangar at an airport, while the compact TrixCycle is battling its way in the heavy street traffic. The user does not have to buy an expensive and complex aircraft to drive to work on daily bases, when he or she may need to fly a couple of hours every now and then. TrixPlane, TrixGyro and TrixHeli are designed for sharing and rental programs. Several TrixCycle users may share an aircraft and use it for their long distance trips or for fun. Car rental companies may also extend their rental programs to offer rental docking aircraft in the near future. This may give TrixFormer users the opportunity to choose the right aircraft for the mission of the day.

Modern navigation and modern air traffic control systems, such as WAAS (Wide Area Augmentation System) of the USA, EGNOS of Europe and MSAS of Japan, will add value to the TrixFormer concept in the very near future. These systems are designed to fly aircraft by computer using GPS navigation enhanced by specially designed ground stations and electronic communication between air traffic control centers and autopilots installed in every aircraft. This will eliminate human error and insure a higher level of air traffic safety for unlimited number of aircraft in the skies, wherever coverage is available. The modern air traffic control systems are already far advanced today and provide precision approaches to any air field within the covered areas.

Trixy Aviation is now testing the open cabin design of TrixCycle and the docking system on TrixGyro. The company says the driving and the flying results are "far more than promising and you can expect to see the proof of concept exhibited in the AERO show from April 9th to April 12th 2014 in Friedrichshafen/Germany."

Patents are already granted for Rainer Farrag, the inventor of TrixFormer and president of Trixy Aviation, in the United States and in Europe. Other international patents are pending.

The German authorities have already issued a temporary airworthiness certificate and a temporary type certificate for TrixFormer. The final certificates are expected to be issued in June 2014.

Trixy Aviation plans to start a limited serial production of the open cabin TrixCycle and an affiliated TrixGyro by the end of April 2014. It will also continue the development of TrixPlane and expects to present a final product of it in April 2015.
Trixy Aviation is now offering the production and marketing rights of its TrixFormer concept including all of its components (TrixCycle, TrixPlane, TrixGyro, TrixHeli, TrixBoat and TrixRail) to capable companies and associations in the automotive industry and in the aviation industry worldwide and accepting serious offers.
