Kelly Allender, Paul Kuchta Assume New Duties
FlightSafety International said Tuesday that Kelly Allender and
Paul Kuchta have been promoted from within the organization
Kelly is now Assistant Manager of the company’s Cessna
Learning Center in Wichita, Kansas. Allender joined FlightSafety in
2001, and most recently served as Director of Programs at the
Wichita Cessna Learning Center. He has held a number of other
positions of increasing responsibility at the Center including
Program Manager for the Cessna Citation Mustang training program as
well as a Ground and Simulator instructor.
He served in the active duty United States Marines for 9 years.
Allender is a highly experienced AV-8B Harrier and A-6E Intruder
pilot and continues to serve in the Marine reserves as a Lieutenant
Colonel.

Kelly Allender
Kelly graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Mathematics and holds a multiengine ATP with
type-ratings in the Boeing 747-400, Cessna Citation Jet, and the
Cessna Citation Mustang aircraft.
FlightSafety offers training for seventeen Cessna and Cessna
Citation aircraft models in Wichita using a fleet of 20 simulators
and advanced flight training devices.
In Dallas/Fort Worth, Paul Kuchta has been promoted to Assistant
Manager of the company’s Learning Center located at the
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in Texas. He will assume
responsibility for the Center’s aircraft maintenance
technician training programs as well as other managerial
duties.

courseware development, and his ability to effectively manage
people and programs, will help us to respond to the growing need
for high quality, comprehensive aircraft maintenance

Learning Center.
Paul Kuchta
Paul began his career with FlightSafety in 1998 as a Technical
Analyst. He was promoted to Maintenance Instructor and was named to
his most recent position of Director of Maintenance Training in
2001.
He served in the United States Air Force for 21 years and was
assigned to a number of technical, training and supervisory roles
throughout the United States and elsewhere around the world. While
in the Air Force, he developed aircraft maintenance training
curriculums, managed numerous Aircraft Crew Chiefs and Maintenance
Technicians and served as Superintendant of a Maintenance
Operations Center with responsibility for coordinating and tracking
the maintenance of a large fleet of F-15 aircraft.
Paul studied Systems Maintenance Technology at the USAF
Community College and leadership at the Noncommissioned Officer
Academy. He holds an Airframe & Powerplant Certificate and is
currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University.
FlightSafety’s Dallas/Fort Worth Learning Center offers
pilot, maintenance technician and emergency evacuation training for
business and regional aircraft built by ATR, Bombardier, Dassault,
Embraer and Gulfstream. The Center features 19 full flight
simulators, numerous classrooms, advanced technology flight
training devices and Customer service areas.
