Treasure Hunting In The Bahamas

Air Journey's Latest Adventure Promises Lots Of Fun

The 8th Annual Bahamas Treasure Hunt is a grown up way to act like a little kid, but with real planes and boats and the lure of exotic exploration amidst more than 700 islands and 2,000-plus cays that dot the Caribbean. Air Journey will lead the way.

The trip a spirited adventure that combines the best of camaraderie and friendly competition against a backdrop of what can be described as "severely clear" weather that is a pilot's dream. Participants will gather in Florida for the start of the well organized, yet unregimented group fly-in to the Bahamas scheduled for February 16th to February 21st, 2004.

Air Journey promises to take care of all the details so you and your crew -- be they family or friends -- can relax and enjoy the unparalleled beauty of these exciting, yet charming, islands. The airborne caravan will travel to Freeport, Exuma and Eleuthera with ample time for individual exploration and relaxation. And then its time for the Treasure Hunt.

Upon your arrival and throughout your stay as you go snorkeling, fishing, diving, sailing or even shopping, select tour operators and merchants who are in on the "hunt" will slip you some "gold coins." You'll want to collect them for use in a friendly hand of poker or two during convivial cocktail sessions. The games include, dare we say it, a touch of skullduggery - not in the form of deception or trickery - but plastic skulls filled with cash prizes. Other prizes may include meal specials, hotel packages or other perks that will make any trip to the Bahamas sparkle as much as the surrounding waters.

Aside from the prizes, Air Journey promises a scrumptious barbecue dinner set on the beach at the Cove Eleuthera Resort with a Pirates theme for the evening (costumes mandatory)! So join the group this year as Air Journey once again takes to the skies and heads for this captivating string of islands. For reservations call: 888-554-3774
