Guardian Mobility To Show Latest Devices at NBAA

Enhanced Mapping, Latest Tracking And Communication On View

Guardian Mobility said Thursday it plans to use the NBAA Convention in Orlando, Florida next week to show off recent enhancements to its mapping services for aircraft operators who want to track the location and status of their fleet from the ground. Companies use Guardian's tracking devices and services to better manage their fleets, and for enhanced safety and transparency.

Guardian will also be displaying the latest DZM 2 device from its partner Flightcell, and Flightcell CEO John Wyllie will join Guardian CEO Jean Carr in the Guardian booth.

The mapping enhancements on display will include the ability to search by airport codes in maps and reports, and the addition of more landforms (mountain ranges, canyons) that are named and searchable. Customers can also export their flight data into KML format, to create a virtual fly-through in Google Earth. North American aeronautical charts are also available to Guardian customers.

In addition to mapping, Guardian will have display units of its Guardian 3i, the GPS tracking device it offers for the Iridium network, and the DZM 2 from its partner Flightcell, for voice and data communications. When offered by Guardian, the Flightcell DZM 2 is able to leverage Guardian's industry leading tracking and mapping services.
