Upgraded: Edwin Beall

Superior, Inc. has appointed Edwin Beall as its new Vice President Operations and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Bernie Coleman, President and Chief Executive Officer, announced, "Edwin's experience in supply chain management, quality, and manufacturing will be a great addition in implementing infrastructure and business processes to support Superior's plans to produce it's line of new engines." Mr. Beall was previously VP of Supply Management at Superior.

As COO, Mr. Beall will have several departments/functions reporting to him. These departments/functions will include supply chain management, production planning, logistics, engineering, quality, and Superior's new manufacturing and production facility. The latter opened in April 2003 to produce Superior's XP-360 Engine�, manufactured for the sport aviation market, and the SV-360 Vantage Engine that is being type certified for new aircraft with Supplemental Type Certificates for after market engine replacement in the existing certified aircraft fleet.
