Blue Angels Return to Jacksonville Show in 2025

Blues Headlining Sea & Sky Air Show In October

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will be returning to the Jacksonville Sea & Sky Air Show in 2025 after all, the city announced on December 10.

The Sea & Sky show had been canceled when the Blues scheduled the Chennault International Air Show in Louisiana instead. However, that show fell through because of what was reported to be an inability to reach agreement on a venue.

The Jacksonville show is now scheduled for October 25-26 in Jacksonville Beach. Mayor Donna Deegan expressed gratitude to the team for “bringing the thrill and magic of naval flight back to our proud military community.”

Putting the show back on the calendar of local events was a priority for the city’s Office of Sports & Entertainment after the city also lost the Jax River Jams concert series and the Bethune-Cookman University football game.

The announcement was made at the International Council of Air Shows in Las Vegas, according to the city. Alex Alston, executive director of the Office of Sports & Entertainment, said organizers were “ready to put on the best Sea & Sky Air Show yet.”

The city noted that the event is free, and more details would be announced including a list of attractions, parking options, shuttle services, and road closures.
