CAE To Train Air Busan Pilots

Will Train At The CAE Korea Training Center

CAE announced at the 2018 Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium (APATS) the signing of a new exclusive agreement with Air Busan to support the airline’s Airbus A320 pilot training needs in the region. CAE will train the airline’s pilots starting in the fall of 2018 at the CAE Korea training center.

“Air Busan’s philosophy is to provide the highest level of safety to its customers. As such, we are honoured to select CAE as our training partner of choice to ensure our pilots receive a world-class training experience, leveraging the expertise of CAE instructors,” said Tae-Keun Han, Chief Executive Officer of Air Busan.

“As the training partner of choice, we strongly believe that instructors play a fundamental role in the training quality that airlines expect, and we are delighted that the expertise of our CAE instructors will be leveraged to train Air Busan’s pilots,” said Nick Leontidis, CAE’s Group President, Civil Aviation Training Solutions. “We look forward to supporting Air Busan’s training needs long into the future.”

Air Busan is low-cost airline based in Busan, South Korea, and is a subsidiary of Asiana Airlines. Asiana Airlines and CAE share a long-standing relationship of more than 20 years, with the provision of training equipment and services as well as aviation recruitment services.
