'Pilots In Command' Workbook Now Available

Companion Piece to ASA Textbook Free of Charge

An accompanying workbook for a recent ASA publication is now available free of charge.

The Pilots In Command Student Workbook can now be had as a PDF for use in teaching from "Pilots In Command: Your Best Trip, Every Trip". The publication should help those teaching the next generation of PICs as they hone their nascent skills and CRM capabilities outside and inside the flight deck.

The workbook sports 2 sections of exercises, with reviews and tests for understanding in one and practical case studies in the second. Drawing from realistic scenarios allows readers to wrap their heads around grounded, true to life airline scenarios where the skills of an airline PIC are put to the test. In order to provide some novel endings, ASA draws on both real life and fiction in order to prevent more knowledgeable students from spoiling the ending, should they be familiar enough with airline history.

Access to the workbook is gatekept to an extent, requiring instructors using the "Pilots in Command" book in their courses to email Greg Robbins at (greg at asa2fly.com) to gain access.
