American Airlines Flight Attendants to Picket

Ready for Action

American Airlines Flight Attendants, represented by the Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA), will hold another round of picketing events at eleven major airports across the United States.

The picketing underscores the critical phase into which American flight attendants’ contract negotiations are entering and speaks to the readiness of subject flight attendants to act decisively should the airline’s management fail to offer them an equitable labor agreement.

Association of Professional Flight Attendants national president Julie Hedrick remarked: "American Flight Attendants have been waiting years for improvements to compensation, reserve duty, scheduling, and vacation. This is not concessionary bargaining, and we are ready to take action. Time is up for management to bring these negotiations to a close."

Picket actions are slated to commence on Tuesday, 24 January 2023 between 11:00 and 13:00 local time at the following airport locations:

  • BOS: Boston/ Logan International Airport, Terminal B West Arrivals, Doors B103-B104.
