Tyson Ringinger Strikes Again!

This Time, Two C-130s Over California's Channel Islands

(Any reason to publish Tyson's amazing photographic work is good enough for us. Here's the note he sent along with these latest photos --ed.)

With just over 4 months of preparation invested, I was fortunate to fly with the 146th Channel Islands Air National Guard for a photo shoot consisting of two C-130's including one of two brand new C-130J models stationed there.  We spent about an hour and a half flying over the Channel Islands off the Southern California Coastline last Tuesday.

Just over 15 years ago I remember watching the formation of about 14 C-130's fly over the house as they left Van Nuys for their new home at Point Mugu.  Little did I know I would have the opportunity of flying with them over my old stomping grounds.  An incredible experience resulting in some decent pics!

Hope you enjoy!
