Daher Releases ‘Me & My Kodiak’ Mobile App

Demo Version Connects Operators To Aircraft Status, Docs, Support

Daher announced its new ‘Me & My Kodiak’ mobile app for operators of the company’s Kodiak family of aircraft as an expansion of digital capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and added safety for its turboprop aircraft.

The app is available as a demo version and is compatible with smartphones and tablets featuring three primary functions: Remote Aircraft Status, My Kodiak Docs, and Contacts. Daher Aircraft provided details during its press conference at this week’s EAA AirVenture airshow and fly-in at Wittman Regional Airport (KOSH) in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Me & My Kodiak is modeled after the company’s Me & My TBM app released in 2018 for operators of Daher’s other popular product line. The TBM app is now in use by over 400 TBM operators globally, and the new version for Kodiak leverages the company’s experience in digital aircraft services and connectivity for its workhorse aircraft.

Nicolas Chabbert, CEO of Daher Aircraft said, “Daher Aircraft’s development of the Me & My Kodiak app reflects the continued investment in digital tools that bring value to our airplane operators. By continuing the leadership in developing intelligent and useful apps for the Daher aviator community, we're providing Kodiak users with a smarter, more connected way to manage and utilize their aircraft.”

The Me & My Kodiak app allows users to remotely check fuel quantity, oxygen levels, oil temp, battery charge and more. Garmin’s Plane Sync provides remote aircraft parameters through its GDL 60 datalink.

The app also provides immediate access to current aircraft documentation such as maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, service bulletins and more. The app’s Contact function provides access to Daher Aircraft’s customer support team whenever needed via voice and email. Multiple Kodiak aircraft can be managed through the app’s My Kodiak Fleet function.
