JETTECH Readies STC Release For Garmin G700 TXi

Touchscreen Displays For Citation 500/550/S550/560 Fleet

JETTECH will soon release its STC for a Garmin G700 TXi touchscreen display modification and upgrade for the Citation 500, 550, S550 and 560 aircraft fleet, the company announced at AEA 2018 in Las Vegas.

Following-on its successful STC modification for the Garmin G600 displays, the new STC will allow existing JETTECH customers a special upgrade path for the G700 TXi touchscreen primary flight display. "The G700 offers our customers a scalable and flexible display option to include a 10.6-inch display and, unlike the G600, the new modification will offer the dual display option for the first time," said Rob Irwin, founder and member/manager of JETTECH. "The combination of these two versatile displays provides plenty of options for PFD, MFD and EIS functions."

According to Irwin, the Garmin TXi displays are revolutionary in design and feature a clean-sheet touchscreen incorporating modern processors for faster panning, chart rendering and single-finger zoom control with a pinch-to-zoom element.

In addition to the G700 TXi install, JETTECH provides an STC'd autopilot coupled LPV WAAS for the Citation CJs equipped with the ProLine 21 Integrated Avionics System. For early CJs, JETTECH’s STC covers the installation of Garmin GTN’s with coupled autopilot LPV WAAS capability. Also, JETTECH owns the STC install for the Garmin G600 and GTN 650/750 touchscreen series GPS for the Citation 500 series that includes WAAS approvals.
