Diamond Reinforces Roots in Turkey

Fast-Growing Flight School Adds Sim Cabin to DA20 Fleet

AYJET Flight School reinforced its relationship with Diamond Aircraft with the purchase of a DA42 FNPT II flight sim, making the purchase at the European Flight Training Event (EATS) in Cascais, Portugal.

The new FSTD will supplement AYJET’s collection of Diamond Aircraft already in service. Currently, they operate 18 single engine DA20s and 5 DA42s. Another 8 DA20s are on their way, which will swell the fleet to 26 in all post-delivery. The school provides a steady stream of recruits to local operators like Turkish Airlines, SunExpress, Pegasus Airlines and more, in operation since November of 2020. The flight school even took up the mantle of managing the Hezarfen Airport, with operations extending to Tekirda? Çorlu Atatürk Airport, Bal?kesir Koca Seyit Airport, Mu?la-Dalaman Airport and Bursa Yeni?ehir Airport.

“We are glad to add a new one to our long-standing partnership with Diamond Aircraft, whose products are the main component of our fleet. I believe that this beautiful co-operation of ours will continue for many more years. I hope that the Diamond Aircraft DA42 FNPT II flight simulator will be of great benefit to our school,” says Celal C?NGÖZ, General Manager, AYJET Flight School.

“Diamond Aircraft is the only sole source provider in the flight training market. From single and multi-engine aircraft and the corresponding high-quality simulator to the proprietary jet fuel engine, the glass cockpit to pilot training and EASA Part-147 certified maintenance training in our own Approved Training Organisation,” says Jane Wang, Sales Director, Diamond Aircraft Austria. “We are very proud to strengthen our long-term cooperation with our customer AYJET with this new order and wish them all the best for the future.”
