Lockheed Martin delivered the first F-16 Block 70 fighter jet to Bulgaria, signaling a big step forward in the country’s plan to modernize its air force. A ceremony was held to celebrate the delivery at the company’s manufacturing facility in Greenville, South Carolina, attended by Atanas Zapryanov, Bulgarian Minister of Defense, along with other Bulgarian and American officials.
10 Confirmed Dead After a Bering Air Cessna 208 Crashed in Western Alaska
The US Coast Guard has found aircraft wreckage that looks to be the Bering Air Cessna 208B that went missing over western Alaska on February 6. All 10 people on board were killed in the crash. The search proved to be extremely challenging due to the lack of an Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) signal as well as poor weather conditions.
