Advance Bio Jet Fuel One Of Several Products To Be
Produced
ClearFuels Technology and Rentech made a joint announcement
Monday to say they have been selected to receive up to $23 million
as a grant from the U.S. DOE to construct a biomass gasifier at
Rentech’s Energy Technology Center (“RETC”) in
Denver.
The FAA is taking a look at the control tower at Tucson
International Airport to see if the 1950's era facility should be
replaced, or if an upgrade would address controller's concerns.
Raytheon Awarded Contract To Study Radar Blackout Zones Caused
By Spinning Turbines
Raytheon Company has been awarded a contract by the United
Kingdom's NATS, formerly National Air Traffic Services, to conduct
software modeling and field trials of technology that minimizes the
effects of wind turbines on radar signals.
The FAA announced Friday it is soliciting bids from companies
interested in competing for NextGen support contracts with an
approximate combined value of $7 billion, the largest award in the
agency’s history.
