The Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE) recently
announced that it will chair the national symposium, Securing the
Future of General Aviation through Pilot Training Reform.
A pilot who made a fuel stop in Salina, Kansas in late September
got a bit of a surprise when police seized over 100 pounds of
cocaine from the airplane. Fortunately for the pilot, authorities
determined that neither he or his co-pilot on the charter flight
knew the drugs were on board.
