Areas At All Part 139 Airports
It's going to potentially be a little more difficult to be on an
airport ramp under rules proposed by the FAA Thursday to require
airports certificated under Part 139 to put in place safety
management systems (SMS) for all airfield and ramp areas.
Temporary Relief For Flight Training Operations Passed
Thursday
The California Legislature on Thursday passed SB 856, a bill
that, among its other provisions, will provide a delay in
compliance with regulations issued by the California Bureau of
Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) as they apply to flight
training operations.
