the heat for a series of unexplained rolls encountered during
Wednesday's X-Prize attempt. As the spacecraft was in the boost
phase of its mission, moving faster than a speeding bullet, it
rolled as many as 30 times while in the vertical. While observers
on the ground were aghast at the unintended maneuver, Melvill said,
"It was kinda fun."
