the FAA's decision to officially investigate last year's closing of
Meigs field in Chicago. The organization filed a formal complaint
following the destruction of Meigs's runway on Mayor Daley's order.
The complaint claims the city of Chicago failed to provide adequate
notice, as required by the FARs.
