Bombardier announced that its Global 7500 business jet keeps on setting speed records by reaching more than 50 records in less than 50 weeks. Some of the essential city-pair records are impressive, including London to Bahrain, Miami to São Paulo, Tokyo to Los Angeles, and Jeddah to London. The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) announced that the first three companies planning Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) exhibits at the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) are Electra.aero, Joby Aviation, and Lillium. The three AAM exhibits will be featured in this year’s Emerging Tech Pavilion at BACE in the Las Vegas Convention Center. NBAA expects that more AAM companies will be added to those exhibits.

NTSB Prelim: Bell 206

Helicopter Came To Rest Inverted In A Cornfield About 200 Feet Southeast Of A Powerline Tower

On July 29, 2024 about 1330 central standard time, a Bell 206-B3 (File Photo-Below) Helicopter, N94XA, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident near Nashua, Iowa. The pilot was fatally injured. The helicopter was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 137 aerial application flight. The operator reported that the pilot was scheduled to spray insecticide and fungicide over local cornfields. Preliminary data retrieved from an onboard GPS aerial application guidance system showed that the helicopter departed from a farm, about 3 statute miles west of Nashua, at 0905, and proceeded to spray several fields south of the accident si
