Technology that alerts pilots to potential runway safety hazards
is now operating at Los Angeles International Airport thanks to a
partnership between the Federal Aviation Administration and the
City of Los Angeles.
The economic doldrums can't seem to let go of the aviation
business, with Cessna and American Airlines both announcing
additional job cuts, and Delta and US Airways saying they may not
