A veteran Test Pilot and combat pilot, California State Sen.
William J. "Pete" Knight, has made his last departure from Mother
Earth. Knight passed away at the City of Hope National Medical
Center a few weeks after finding out that he was diagnosed with
acute myelogenous leukemia.

and Space Company's (EADS) attempt to develop a reusable space
vehicle: The Phoenix has landed.
The new crew of the International Space Station spent its first
full week alone concentrating on life science research, spacewalk
preparations, and becoming comfortable with their new home in
