Volocopter completed its first flight test out of the Downtown Manhattan Heliport in New York City using a crewed Volocopter 2X. The test took place at a showcase of sustainable travel tech hosted by the Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, along with the city's Economic Development Corporation. The Volocopter 2X got to be a star of the event, having conducted actual flights in some of the busiest, most populated cities on Earth.
