Solar Arrays Deployed, Boosted To Final Geostationary Orbit
The Star One D1 satellite, which it designed and built for Embratel Star One by Space Systems Loral (SSL), is successfully performing post-launch maneuvers according to plan. The satellite deployed its solar arrays on schedule following its launch aboard an Ariane 5 launch vehicle from the European Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana.
