Mid-Continent Instruments Appoints Paul Ryan Operations Manager

Will Manage Manufacturing Operations And Repair Lab

Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics has appointed Paul Ryan to the position of Operations Manager. Ryan will manage the company’s manufacturing operations and repair lab. He will focus on providing consistently high quality and on-time deliveries of new products and quick turnarounds for Mid-Continent’s extensive overhaul/exchange services.

A graduate of the University of Missouri-Rolla with a degree in civil engineering and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from North Illinois University, Ryan (pictured) previously served as Vice President of Operations at Mojack Distributors and Chance Rides Manufacturing, Inc.

“Paul Ryan has an established record of outstanding achievement in operations with nearly three decades of management experience. His background includes leadership roles in engineering, supply chain, logistics, customer service and plant management. He is a valuable addition to our team,” said Cindy Highbarger, Vice President of Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics.

Ryan began his professional career in engineering in 1987 at an engineering firm in Mentor, Ohio before advancing into management roles. In 1994, he joined Case New Holland (CNH Global) in East Moline, Illinois as Material Scheduling and Receiving Manager before being named Operations Manager in 2000. In 2001, he was transferred to Wichita, Kansas as CNH Global’s General Plant Manager, a position he held for four years.

In 2005, Ryan became Director of Operations for Harper Trucks, Inc., one of the world’s largest manufacturers of industrial and consumer hand trucks. He was appointed Vice President of Operations at Chance Rides in 2007. He was named Vice President of Operations at MoJack in 2010.

An ASQ certified Six Sigma Champion, Ryan holds patents for six inventions.
