Aerovolare Engines Reveals Innovative Designs

Displaying Turbo And Non-Turbo Options At SUN ‘n FUN 2025

Aerovolare Engines (Jethrow Engines LLC), an innovative aircraft propulsion technology company, announced it will attend the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo in Lakeland, Florida, from April 1-6, 2025.

Aerovolare Engines blend lightweight construction with significantly higher horsepower, fuel efficiency, and cutting-edge technology. The engines are designed for high performance applications to meet the needs of aircraft builders and pilots. They are available normally aspirated with 300 hp and between 350-500 hp turbocharged.

The turbo 300 hp systems deliver 10-15% improved fuel efficiency compared to traditional turbo engines. Fuel consumption is optimized through an advanced electronic injection system. The engines are designed for extreme endurance with minimal maintenance requirements.

The lightweight composite construction enhances performance-to-weight ratio, and with all accessories the nonturbo model comes in at 477 lbs mounted, which is 50-100 lbs lighter than most 6-cylinder engines it can replace.

The turbocharged model with 2 lbs of boost yields 350 hp up to 25,000 feet MSL. With boost up to 4 or 6 lbs the yield increases to 450-500 hp at lower ceiling limits. The turbo model weighs in at 550 lbs mounted.

The engines are compatible with alternative fuels such as biofuels and unleaded avgas (UL91).

Aerovolare, based in New London, Wisconsin, will be exhibiting at the Expo at Booth N-010 and will have the engines on display. The company will also present technical demos and an expert present to answer any questions.
